Director Hodges served on the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District’s Board of Directors in 2007. He grew up using H.A.R.D. facilities and would often play on the Castro Valley Community Center playground with his brothers and sisters or be found riding the train and merry-go-round at Airport Park (now Kennedy Park). He has served his community as an elementary school teacher, coach, and businessman while serving on several other boards and committees. He values the opportunity he has as a Board Member to serve his community and to continue guiding H.A.R.D. toward a bright future.
