Citizens Advisory Committee

The Citizens Advisory Committee is a committee appointed by the Board of Directors to provide recommendations to the Board in the areas of District operations, park design, projects and programs. This committee meets on the first Monday quarterly at 6:30 pm in March, June, September and December.

 Appointed CAC members can serve up to (2) two-year terms.

Responsibilities


In March of 2007, the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District Board of Directors proposed the reformation of the district wide CAC. The committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Directors and includes members from various communities throughout the district.
