The Project involves, but is not limited to, the conversion and expansion of a former elementary school building to a community center with assembly spaces, commercial kitchen, restrooms, AV equipment; and renovation of 10 acres of parkland consisting of parking lots, children's play structure, basketball and pickleball courts, outdoor fitness court, lighting, vehicular and pedestrian pathways, site furnishings,bioretention basins, landscape and limited irrigation.
Mandatory Pre-Bid Walk Through:
A mandatory pre-bid conferences and site visits will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday,April 7, 2026, and on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 175 Fairway Ave, Hayward, CA 94545. Only contractors as a prime must attend one of the meetings. Please meet in front of the building.
All participants are required to sign in at the pre-bid conference. The site visit is expected to take
approximately one and a half (1.5) hour. Failure to attend or tardiness will render bid ineligible.
