Senior / Active Adults (50 yrs +)

The Hayward Area Recreation & Park District operates the Hayward Area Senior Center and the Kenneth Aitken Senior and Community Center in Castro Valley. We welcome you and are open to all Active/Senior Adults, 50 years of age or older. We offer social, recreational, educational, and nutritional programs and activities to enhance the lives of older adults, and help them remain healthy, active and independent. H.A.R.D.  thanks and recognizes Alameda County Area Agency on Aging for providing funding to support activities and programs for older adults.

Programs and special events are announced in the "Expanding Horizons", a monthly newsletter available at both Centers, as well as the District Office.
