It has come to my attention that you are thinking of cancelling Camp Tenderfoot, Potowatomi and Vida Nueva. These camps are a vital part of Hayward culture. They provide a safe and creative environment for kids and young adults. It also is a great place for teenagers to get some real life work experience, both through volunteer work and counselor work.
This camp has been around for decades and has provided so many wonderful memories and experiences for generations of people. By cancelling these programs, you are going to take away something that is so important to the youth of Hayward. I, myself, have been waiting for years for my son to be old enough to attend this camp because I know that he will have the time of his life. Imagine my surprise and horror to think that it will now be cancelled and cease to exist. It breaks my heart to think that HARD doesn't put more value on what this camp brings to the community.

Hello there!
My name is Shallymar, and I am a Doctor of Audiology student at San José State University. I am conducting a research project focused on the financial burden of hearing aid costs among individuals with perceived and diagnosed hearing loss and would like to know if you would be interested in participating. Under the supervision of, Dr. Karen L. Bell, I am investigating how hearing aid costs have affected or may affect people's finances. The study involves a quick survey that should take approximately 5 -10 minutes.
I would greatly appreciate it if you would take some time to fill out the survey!

If you have any questions, please contact me at shallymar.aquipel@sjsu.edu. Thank you for your time.

Is Glyphosate (round up) being used in our parks? If so why can’t we use an alternative, there’s some alternatives that I wouldn’t mind sending information about. We need to protect our children.

I am working on a project at UC Berkeley in which my team and I are hoping to improve the quality of life for children in Unincorporated Alameda County. Our main focus is to increase participation in HARD activities and help students develop their credit by including them in any payments for their activities. We are hoping to invite banks to provide lines of credit families that are struggling to pay for programs. By including children in the credit agreement, not only will the child get to participate in youth activities, they will have a chance to develop a higher credit score before they turn 18 years old.

I refuse to take him there because there is always a crowd of teens and young adults loitering at the skateboard park smoking pot and vandalizing the property. They do not respect the property and need to find something to do.

Hello. It was promised in 1979 that bathrooms would be installed at rancho arroyo park. This park is used by mt Eden little league for practices and the Ochoa fields next door are used for games. There are not bathrooms for practices and the kids just peep or poop in the bushes. Please add a porta potty temporarily and find funds to build a permanent bathroom here. It’s also located right next to a playground and a school, so I know the bathroom is very needed. Thank you

Please fix the lights that are out in Southgate Park. There are at least 10 lights that I noticed being burnt out. Fixing the lights would would probably encourage people to walk more for health and also improve safety as the paths are so rough I sometimes trip over the cracks as I stumble through the darkness. As a matter of fact can I request you fix the asphalt paths also. Plus there are children, in after school programs, that are being picked up that wouldn’t have to walk through an unlit, unsafe environment to get to their homes close to school.
