The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District is home to many beautiful parks. This newly developed summer camp program introduces participants to the wonderful natural features of our HARD parks including majestic Redwood tree, interesting insects, and vocal and colorful local birds. Our Park Explorers will learn from the naturalists and support staff about the wonders of the local parks that they may have overlooked! This outdoor, science-based program is designed to ignite the five senses and inspire the youth in our community to appreciate our neighborhood parks.
