Joshua and Sebastian Fuenzalida are twin brothers who work at the Arroyo Swim Center as volunteer Water Safety Instructor Aides and Junior Lifeguards. Although they were involved in many activities outside of the pool this summer, they were always on time and completed all necessary tasks to the best of their ability.
Joshua and Sebastian are very knowledgeable and eagerly assisted the instructors with swim classes in every way possible. They were also a great help to the staff in the office by always greeting customers with a smile and doing whatever was needed to help our programs run smoothly.
Their brother Tristan also worked as volunteer and Junior Lifeguard before becoming a Water Safety Instructor at the Arroyo Swim Center; and their mother Yolanda works for HARD as a Cashier at the Sunset Swim Center.
Joshua and Sebastian’s desire to become lifeguards is evident in all that they do. They love being in and around the pool and it shows in their faces every day. They are both very driven individuals and will be great lifeguards and assets to the HARD Aquatics team. Joshua and Sebastian are what all Aquatics Volunteers should aspire to be!
