Drought Information

In an effort to support the current drought conditions and the state-wide 25% mandatory water rationing reductions requirement, the District continues to implement best practice measures to reduce water use at its parks.These best practices have included a significant reduction of water use, changing irrigation practices, raising mowing heights, increased use of mulch in trees wells and landscape areas to increase water retention and reduce weed populations as well as eliminating the planting of annuals. 

The District will continue its commitment to be a part of important drought measures during these difficult times.  Please refer to the drought FAQ's for additional information.
