Tyrine Bailey
Ms. Tyrine Bailey currently volunteers with the Volunteer Hayward Program. She began volunteering for Volunteer Hayward at a very young age, and for the past three years her dedication has grown. She is always eager to help with whatever task is at hand. This past year Tyrine has worked on multiple projects including the HPN Fun Run at the John Muir campus, Cal State East Bay Make a Difference Day, a Volunteer Hayward's Adopt-a-Family Program. She even volunteered during her week of spring break to help with the City of Hayward's National Volunteer Week Celebration.

Tyrine was born and raised in Hayward and now resides in Union City. She is kind-hearted and very mature. She is currently a sophomore at James Logan High School in Union City. Since both cities are dear to her hear, she shares her volunteer time with both HARD and Union City's Public Library. When she is not volunteering she is a dedicated dancer with a local dance company. Even with all of these extra-curricular activities, Tyrine was still able to achieve a 4.3 GPA during her freshman year of High School. As a Sophomore she is currently taking AP World History and College level Math courses. Her goal after high school is to attend a four year university and major in biology.
