Palma Ceia Park Renovation

Palma Ceia Flyer Header

Palma Ceia Park is a 5.7-acre community park located on 27600 Decatur Way, Hayward, CA 94545. The Park was developed in 1957 for the City of Hayward, Hayward Unified School District and Hayward Area Recreation and Park District. Due to its proximity to Palma Ceia Elementary School, the park is an inevitable recreation destination for the community. Park amenities include a picnic area, play area, pathway, and a restroom.

District intends to renovate existing play area for Palma Ceia park.  New play equipment will emphasize inclusive play for both youth and adults and will be expanded beyond the existing play area.

The Measure F1 Bond provides $1.5 million for the proposed renovation.  City of Hayward is also contributing to the project and Game Time will provide a matching grant of $75,000 for new play equipment.
