The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District’s Public Safety Division is charged with ensuring public and park safety and security through its Park Ranger program and through the management of the District's Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The Park Ranger Program is responsible for deterring crime, violence, drug use, and alcohol use at all District properties.
