Janice and Frank Delfino Wetland Habitat Room

We are proud to present our design plans, and to let you know we are one step closer to completing our updated and improved Habitat Room at the Interpretive Center.

But this project needs your to help.  Your donation will go towards funding elements of the room design that won't be covered by the 2016 bond measure benefiting HARD parks and facilities.  With your help, our facility will be the biggest aquarium in the East Bay!

Our new and improved Habitat Room will include:
  • All new interactive, accessible, and inviting interpretive displays, and updated interpretive signage.
  • Three new exhibits: Plankton Rain, Mysteries in Mud, and Ebb & Flow in the Marsh.
  • State of the art aquaria and terraria tanks, including a 900 gallon shark enclosure.
  • Life support systems and holding tanks to support a diverse range of live display animals.
  • Updates to our beloved Children's Discovery Corner.

With these updates, we will continue to offer a premier and accessible facility for our communities, introducing them to their San Francisco Bay Estuary.

To make a donation please print and mail in or drop off the Donation Form with your donation.  Thank you for your support!
