Final Master Plan
At the request of a very active community, the HARD Board of Directorsbegan the process to update the San Lorenzo Community Park Master Plan. Subsequent meetings and discussion were held, with the goal of improving this wonderful community park that would meet the needs of the community, while staying in line with architectural feasibility, and on November 26, 2012, the Board of Directors adopted the final revised master plan for San Lorenzo Community Park.
On September 10, 2012, a work session of the board was held, where the board received a report from the architect, RRM Design Group, about the master plan process that had occurred over the past four months. RRM Design Group also presented a power point presentation that summarized community input from previous meetings. Included in the presentation were the initial three preliminary concepts and two new preferred plans.
The preferred plans contained most of the amenities suggested by the community, along with current codes and regulations required in the development of the new master plan. There was strong community support in favor of the existing pond, and following more deliberation, the board directed the architect to proceed with refining Preferred Plan 2. Below are the slideshow presentation and proposed plans that were reviewed:
Community Meeting On May 2, 2012, a community meeting and workshop was held where community input was received on the future design of the park. The files provided by RRM Design Group can be accessed online.
