 has been selected for the Monthly Volunteer Recognition Award for May 2007. He has been a volunteer in the Senior Softball Program for the past eight (8) years and has donated a total of 300 volunteer hours so far this year.
Al currently manages and assists the Rules Committee, schedules games for both divisions, and handles statistics and participant/patron counts. His contributions to the program tallies in the hundreds of hours annually and his commitment to maintain the quality of the Senior Softball Program and his unselfish dedication and enthusiasm makes him a valued volunteer resource to both the Senior Softball Program and the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District’s Adult Sports Division.
His picture will be displayed in the District Administration Office as the Monthly Volunteer Recognition Awardee for May 2007. In addition, he will be eligible for the Volunteer of the Year Award for 2007, which will be announced in January. |
