Sulphur Creek Nature Center is a wildlife education and rehabilitation facility

Animal Lending Library
Open Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Animal Lending Library has animals that you can actually take home with you for one week. For the nominal fee of $20, you can borrow a guinea pig, rat, hamster, or mouse, together with a cage, food, bowl, water bottle, and care sheet. Check out an animal, and learn about the responsibilities of pet ownership.

Teacher Services Let Sulphur Creek help you share the wild and wooly world of native wildlife with your students as they learn about this unique and diverse land known as the San Francisco Bay Area. Our interactive programs with live amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals, and arthropods are designed to conform to California State Standards as they draw students into the lives and habitats of the animals that live around us. Creek. Birds and mammals of the area can be viewed in enclosures outside our
Wildlife Discovery Center
Learn how Sulphur Creek has become a safe haven for the hundreds of animals
that have passed through its doors each year. Enjoy the mini vet-tech
station your child can play with as they examine a team of stuffed animals
or select a book to read from our great Children’s Nature Library. Find
out how you can make a difference by adopting one of our resident animals
through the Adopt-an-Animal Program, and get your name added to the Adoptive
Parents wall plaque.
