Planning a social
event or gathering? The District has a vast number of facilities available
for social
occasions of all kinds. There are several community centers that can be rented
for private use for wedding receptions, parties, meetings, exhibits and socials.
In addition to community centers you can rent a swim center for a pool party,
have a birthday bash for your teen, a birthday party at Sulphur Creek Nature
Center or enjoy the great outdoors by reserving a picnic area and a picnic
kit.
Maybe you’ll want to rent a gymnasium or athletic field for a friendly
game of basketball, volleyball, softball or soccer. If tennis is your game you
can reserve one of the many tennis courts throughout the District. Need a costume?
The Douglas Morrisson Theatre has a Costume Rental Service. Other specialized
facilities and services include the Japanese Garden Wedding Site, Meek Park
Wedding Site, the Rowell Ranch Rodeo Grounds, Rowell Ranch Picnic Area and PhotoCentral
