Available by written request and reservation permit only! The District manages
two gymnasiums and a variety of athletic fields. Gyms and athletic fields may
be rented on a limited basis depending on availability. An application
form(pdf) is available online. Call the HARD Sports Office at (510) 317-2314

Tennis Court Policies, Rules
and Regulations
The District maintains 37 tennis courts in various locations. All courts are
available at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis unless reserved.
Courts can be reserved for a fee of $9 per hour per court. Reservations can
be made by completing a written application form, which are available at the
District Office, 1099 E Street, Hayward, between the hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm
Monday though Friday. A listing of courts can be found in the Facility Directory
section of our brochure. For further questions please call the Recreation office

Did you know that the Douglas Morrisson Theatre rents costumes? All the beautiful
costumes you see on stage are available for rental. Next time you need a costume
for Halloween, Mardi Gras or any special occasion visit the Douglas Morrisson
Theatre Costume Rental Service. Rental Prices range from $55 to $70. Special
discounts available for group rentals. Costume rental is by appointment only.

Have your party at the pool! We will provide lifeguards, equipment, tables and
chairs. Parties may be arranged during public swim hours at the Hayward Plunge.
The fee is $65 for 1-12 people (age 6 and over please). The pool is also available
