The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District typically hires a number of part time workers on an as needed basis throughout the year. Hours vary and can include evenings, weekends and holidays. Positions are available in a number of program areas. Certain positions will require the employee to be fingerprinted and if you are under the age of 18 you will need to get a work permit from your school before you can start working. Employment applications are available at the District Office, 1099 - E Street, Hayward or you may contact the person responsible for the program area to inquire about potential employment. Announcements for specific positions currently being recruited can be found at the bottom of this page.
Personal Enrichment Instructors
The District is always in search of instructors for its Personal Enrichment program.
