Community Service

Community Service Shadow Class

Learn about the programs and day-to-day operations of Sulphur Creek Nature Center. Attend an orientation that will introduce you to a variety of education programs, wildlife jobs, volunteer opportunities, and our wildlife hospital.  Get a behind-the-scenes tour, and then sign up to shadow one of our experienced volunteers for half a day. You will assist them as they care for our resident hawks, owls, coyotes, or foxes by helping clean, feed, and plan enrichment. The class may satisfy 6 hours of community service requirements, check with your school first. Registration is required for this Community Service Class designed for Middle and High School students.
