Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center is always looking for dedicated volunteers to help us maintain the beauty and health of our precious environment through monthly programs removing litter and invasive plant species from the shoreline.

Bay Camp Jr. Counselors

Applications for volunteer summer Bay Camp Jr. Counselors are accepted each spring. Counselors must be in high school and entering 9th grade by September.  Applications are available at the District office at 1099 E St., Hayward, or you may download them here:

Sulphur Creek Nature Center

Sulphur Creek Nature Center is a delightful place to spend time. The experience can be even more rewarding if you become a wildlife volunteer! Help us care for the animals that are permanently reside at Sulphur Creek as well as the animals in our Wildlife Hospital. Wildlife Camp Volunteers
